Hello, my name is Mark, I'm 47, I'm from California and I should go on the spaceship for couple of reasons:

First: I am an officer in the US Army and I fought in the Gulf War which means that I am ready to make sacrifices to achieve our goal which is obviously keeping the human race existing. For example, look at my arm. The one I lost while fighting for my country.

Secondly: Right now, I am responsible for a number of platoons which means that I know how to be in charge of people and big actions, and this is helpful when trying to survive. For example, look at every single soldier who was took hostage in any war. They did everything they could to survive. And so, will I.

Some people could say that soldiers are good only at fighting. I say that soldiers are also good at surviving tough things. They can also say that I can't go because I have too many bad memories, so I was traumatized but our bad memories are the ones that forge us.

In conclusion: I should be on the spaceship because I know how to make sacrifices for the greater good and I know how to be authoritative.
