• What is the software metaphor?

Onion metaphor

Means that a person have many layers of culture

In a simple language it means that a person can be in more than one culture

Fish out of the water metaphor

This metaphor means that until we are without our culture we don’t understand how much we depend on it

Lenses metaphor

It means that we look at somethings as our culture look at somethings

For an example: for me it is disgusting that France are eating snails
