I think the argument that says "I feel hurt by your lack of trust" is the strongest argument because its using manipulation on the parents (not that I support it) so it will be the most convincing argument.

I think every home should have a pet for a couple of reasons.

First of all, pets can help emotionally support everyone. Animals are known for an emotional therapy way that can help people get over traumas and other emotional things they are going through.

Secondly, pets are good for people who don’t have lots of friends to feel loved by someone.

Thirdly, taking care of pets lives is a way to feel like you are helping someone and it can help the human taking care of the pet feel that they are the only reason someone else lives.

Counterarguments:

• Pets can make people sad because they need lot of attention.

My argument: researches found that pets make people's mood better.
