test on All My Sons

Section A:

1 Mother's attitude to Larry's disappearance is that Larry is still alive and that he could come back any second because her beliefs (I know it because she said in the play something like "certain things have to be and certain things can never be … like that the sun is rising every morning that's why there is a god…"). The impact that attitude has on her family is that because they are waiting for Larry they cant move on with their life (I know it because Chris sayed in the play something like "we are waiting at a train station for a train that will never come").

2 George is Ann's brother, Steve's son and a lawyer. We don’t know much about him, but what we do know is that he just visited Steve in Colombus prison and that his father told him his side of the story when he visited him. His contribution to the plot is that without him the case would never have brought up again so Chris would never find out the truth about his Keller's (his father's) crimes. And because of that Keller would have never understand that there are no justifications for what he did.

Section B:

1 Keller was the one who sayed this quote. He tried to explain that parents would pay "a million dollars" for that the kid they would have will not be able to fight in wars. It is relevant to the setting of the play because the play is happening a few years after world war 1. This was one of the biggest wars that humanity ever had. It says that everyone are still recovering from the war and that is connected to the quote because the quote is talking about that kids shouldn’t fight in wars.

2 The favor Sue asks Ann is to move away with Chris after they will get married. Sue asks this because Chris is making people better that it is possible to be and that is effecting her husband Jim because Chris makes him wanting to do a research and people who are doing researches don’t earn lot of money. This is surprising because Sue looks like a kind person when the play starts and it also looks like everybody loves Chris.

Section C:

1 the character I most identified with is Chris. His traits are kind (I see it in the play because in the play he always talked nice to everyone and he almost never was angry), naïve (I can see that because he lived with his father from the moment he was born and he still didn’t realize that he was guilty for those crimes and apart of that even when he faced George he believed his father) and loyal (we see it when he faced George and even for a second didn’t doubt his father). They are similar to my traits because I am nice to almost everyone I meet, because I am naïve and when someone fools me I cant understand it and because I am loyal to my parents, family and friends because they are helping me when I need help.

2 Chris went through an interesting development through the play. His perspective on his father totally changed throughout the play. The thing that lead Chris to this change is that he found out that his father was guilty for the crimes Steve did as much as Steve.
